About Me
I am currently writing up my MSc by Research thesis. I conducted ex-situ ‘microcosm’ experiments into mineral weathering at the John Innes Centre (JIC) and conducted analysis of the resulting samples at the School of Environmental Sciences (ENV), UEA. My bench fees were funded by ELSA (Earth & Life Systems Alliance).
My supervisor’s are: Prof. Liam Dolan (formerly of JIC now at Dept. of Plant Sciences, Oxford), Prof. Tim Lenton and Dr Martin Johnson both of the Earth System Modelling Group within ENV.
My main research interests are measuring weathering enhancements due to biotic or abiotic factors (as well as method development to improve measurements) and how mineral weathering impacts upon the global geochemical cycles of phosphate and silicate.
