About Me
Research Interests
Oceanic and atmospheric chemistry; biogeochemical cycles of nitrogen and sulphur; air-sea flux of soluble biogenic gases.
Biography
Having graduated from UEA with a BSc in Environmental Sciences, I then progressed to a Ph.D., which focussed on measurements of dimethylsulphide (DMS) and ammonia (NH3) in remote regions as part of the Atlantic Meridional Transect (AMT) programme. This was supervised by Gill Malin, Tim Jickells, Alex Baker and Peter Liss here at UEA and was completed in 2006. I am currently funded by the Natural Environmental Research Council (NERC) on a three year knowledge transfer project tied to the Surface-Ocean Lower-Atmosphere Study (SOLAS), which aims to produce global-scale air-sea gas flux products. For more information on this project, please see the SOLAS Project Integration webpage.
