Astrobiology is the study of life in the universe. It investigates the orgin, evolution, distribution, and future of life on Earth and beyond. Astrobiology addresses three fundamental questions: How does life begin and evolve? Is there life beyond Earth and how can we detect it? What is the future of life on Earth and in the universe?

AbGradNet is one of the projects that was initiated at the previous AbGradCon meeting in San Juan, Puerto Rico, 14 & 15 July 2007.

AbGradCon 2008 will on April 13–14 2008, in Santa Clara, CA, USA. This is directly before the Astrobiology Science Conference 2008. Registration for AbGradCon 2008 is open 4 – 18 Febrauary 2008.
