General Info

Following a BSc in Marine biology and Oceanography, and an MSc in Marine Environmental Protection from the School of Ocean Sciences, Bangor, I began my PhD studies in the School of Environmental Studies at UEA under the supervision of Prof Peter Liss (and Drs Sue Turner, Phil Nightingale and Michael Steinke!) in October 2005. I am now in my final year working on the project entitled ‘Marine biogenic trace gas production in a high CO2 world’. My work has focused on measurements of seawater concentrations of DMS, DMSP and a range of halocarbon compounds under both present day and future doubled atmospheric CO2 concentrations in a variety of experimental conditions.
