I am interested in long term climate change mitigation, encompassing the Earth system, the carbon cycle, feedback mechanisms, Geoengineering, carbon capture and storage (CCS), global energy systems and future energy technologies. My links with the Tyndall Centre provide a strong appreciation for other critical climate change issues such as adapation, socio-economic and political factors.
